(Vic.) Reground camshaft never used (SOLD)

bought this to use but never did, supposed to be L26 has number E30 on side and 733A12 stamped on front $140 + post

Any idea on the specs of this cam. Would it be ok for a stock l26 with tripple 40mm mikuni's?

As a help, measure the height from underside to tip of the lobe( top)

 

Then measure the narrowest width across the middle of the ground lobe, ( called base circle diameter)

Subtract one from the other, this will give approx lift at cam.

Multiply by 1.5 ( approx rocker ratio) to give a valve lift measurement.

 

If it is ex L26 it should be centre bore drilled, ie internal oiling, if not, these can be drilled.

 

As far as duration and timing, it needs to go into a dummy assembled head/block.

 

Generally a reground can be anything from a 68 deg to a 72deg.

 

Yes it should be fine with 3x 40's, as the 40's wont suffer from slow airflow at idle.

Its a very streetable cam profile.
