You can build a set of triple 40MM Dellortos for that price. A couple of members have had sets here and i do believe one person runs them.

I was a bit concerned that a set of triple 40MM Dellortos would be a bit much for a stock L26 with a slight cam. Just wanted a good set of carbies to replace the SU's

they work very well on steet engine produce great low down mid range and top end power, little cramped in the bonnet department for filtration system

There's a set of triples on ebay for $2000 that comes with a free 260Z 2+2. Keep an eye out here or shop around for the bits at the best price and start from scratch. One problem with starting from scratch is that you'll find they often sell in pairs, linkages and jetting also take time and patience to set up.
