Bottom radiator hose.

Hi all

 

now after being held up a bit on my engine swap progress, i've run into a slight problem with my bottom radiator hose doesnt fit (correctly) my old hose from the L26 doesnt fit and neither does the new one that is suppose to be for a L28 as the outlet on the bottom are different. now my question is what hose will fit that also clears the alternator? i have had a bit of a forage on here and couldnt find a suitable option. the pictures tell a clearer story,

 

 

i had though of swapping the outlets but mine off the L26 is some what stuffed and can't seem to find a replacement. unless someone has one they want to sell??

easiest way change the outlet, did your motor come out of a patrol  by any chance

They sell brand new ones at my local speed shop. I may have a spare floating around, i'll check in the morning.

1: Take old hose to parts shop

2: Find one on the shelf similar and acceptable

3: Profit

What everyone has said, change the outlet, here's my L28 outlet which I got from MSA.

thanks all. i would figured that the outlet swap would be the way to go.ill hunt around at my local bits shop and see what i can dig up.

i had though someone might have had a certain radiator hose that could swap out as i met a guy at the oakey street springs who was running a radiator out of a old XB falcon by memory. but i cant hurt to ask.
