Headlight high/ lowbeam switch.

Hi guys. My headlight switch activated by the indicator stalk for the high an low beam fell apart. I was wondering if anyone has one or know of a suitable replacement? Cheers

Mine did the same a few years ago, I ended up wiring in a floor switch.

I found a switch at Jaycar today and modified the Zed carrier to suit. Just need to wire it up and see if it's a goer. Function seems to work the same as a stock one.

Sure did. That was the one that broke. Rest of the mechanisim is ok.

I am chasing the indicator switch (not the handle etc, just the switch part itself, appears to unscrew). Do you have one spare?

No sorry i don't. I used the only spare one i had on my other zed to replace the toggle switch i had mounted there because of a previous failure. Mind you the toggle switch lasted 12 years and was still working fine.

Do any other Nissans use the same toggle/rocker mechanism? IIRC it's only three wires. Maybe there is a similar part on bluebirds, pulsars something like that.

Yes 1 negative and two other wires. I actually managed to use a switch from Jaycar electronics to replace mine. Took a bit of tweaking, i'll see if this one lasts 13 Years.
