Probably worth putting in a photo of the rear quarter it seems to be missing?

It does look pretty terminal but I've seen worse restored. At least it's pretty original which is a good start.

I would like to know more about the rust areas eg rear lower quarters ,sills ,floor, doors, around windscreen ,back hatch ,rear end behind bumper etc.

It would seem a pity to sell the car for parts when the body may be repairable. My car was pretty bad with rust before I welded it up.

Hi Richard,

May as well post this so everyone knows whats the go.

Starting at the front.

LH Gaurd- Repairable with small rusted section on top.

RH Gaurd- Reasonable

Bonnet-Heavily rusted and nose is bent downwards

Scuttle Panel- Heavily Rusted

Section below Scuttle- Heavily Rusted

Section below Windscreen- Can poke your finger through the whole way along and touch the dash.

Both Door Skins- heavily Rusted... new skins atleast

Both Doglegs- Totally Gone

LH Rear quarter- Completely gone around pillar and the same where quarter meets taillight

RH Rear Quarter- Not to bad besides the gaping hole around fuel filler and rusted again around taillight

Hatch- Hatch is recoverable

Roof- Looks reasonable on the outside but when looking up the hole on the LH pillar the rust carries up through into the roof.

It would need to be completely disassembled with roof and rear quarters removed to repair... its certainly not a car to do a patch job on.
