  1. Only this vacuum like hose was connected to the canister from holley carb. The return fuel line from tank was also connected to the canister.
  2. It was connected to the base of the holley carb. So since it is there I will plumb it to the su carbs. If that doesnt work well will blank it. Will removing the carbon canister restrict me from getting the car passed through rwc?
  3. In my pic or in general? In my pic its not connected to anything right now Where can I get those individual air filters from?
  4. So helpful and clean. I have the fuel line that was clear for me. Been given to get cleaned. With 3, where can I connect it to? Also can I remove the carbon canister fully or will I have issues with registration?
  5. Brake booster should be easy got that hose. Water circulation makes sense now too. 1. Just get a hose from crankcase to the bar. What about the vacuum lines that goto the carbon canister and distributor advance?
  6. Hey guys, I have searched the net, forums and the workshop manual on what hose or outlet goes where. I bought a set of early 240z su carbs and gave them to Wilson Carburetors in airport west to rebuild them. Before that I test fitted it to make sure I can everything covered before I get the su back. Originally car had holley 4160 fitted so some hoses and connections are all over the place. I took a photo of my su fitted and circled the parts I am unsure of. I also don't have the stock airbox so I was thinking of running individual air filters. If someone can tell me or link me a set that would go straight on would be great. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. (I think this is for coolant line, and there is another outlet on the right side which I think is coolant return line)
  7. Thank you for the replies. I will get in contact with them Your carbs are soo tempting to get haha
  8. I picked up a set of 240z su carbs. I was given the fuel lines too but they look soo rusty. Where can I take them to get it looking better again. Prefer the carbs and mani to look good again as well. Located in Craigieburn Can be near Blackburn north during work hours.
  9. I will try those places out. So pretty much what I need to get is a linkage from firewall to carb. Since the current one is in the correct position. Getting the car back to its original glory and on the road then driving it and see what I want to change about it. But the original feeling is important to know first.
  10. I will be getting the carbs rebuilt at Wilson Carburettors in airport west. So hopefully that will eliminate that issue. Where can I get linkages from?
  11. So I have ordered a holley fuel reg and a guage. I have got the fuel lines for the carbs and also figured out the fuel supply and return lines. The metal lines are pretty rusty, what can I do to get them nice looking again? The existing linkage i have there goes right into the su carbs as shown in pic, what can I do to get the two working? When I get the fuel reg, should I set it to max 4psi?
  12. I had a look at all these stuff, I am starting to go blank on this whole install. Currently I have a set of early 240z su carbs, manifolds, choke cable, holley fuel pump(I think red which is 7psi). I dont have linkages between su carbs and firewall, air filters, mech fuel pump, also dont believe I have return fuel lines. - Since the 260z came with the electric pumps, do i remove that fully and put mech pump? - or put a lower pressure electric pump and no mech fuel pump? - or lower pressure electric pump, mech pump, return lines? Is there someone in northern suburbs of melbourne (preferably closer to craigieburn) that I can take the car as is to get it all fitted and tuned right?
  13. This is the holley 4160 390cfm fitted. I believe the fuel pump currently in there is a 9psi pump. And the mechanical fuel pump has been removed right? These are the su carbs I bought.
  14. Hey Guys I bought a 1977 260z with a L28 fitted. I bought it off a father and son that are great and helpful. Plan is to get the car running right for a nice weekend cruise. And then work on the exterior. After reading a fair few posts on this forum, glad I have joined it.
  15. Hey I bought a 260z with a L28 engine. Previous owner fitted a Holley 4160 carby and it is not running well at all. It has a holley fuel pump currently fitted. I bought a set of early 240z su carbs to get the car running right again. Due to the change of pump, what pump do I get and from where? Located in Melbourne
