Whats the difference between the earlier and later 240Z ones? I'm pretty sure I have one in storage, but no idea what year?

I couldn't bring myself to purchase, nor find a set on Yahoo Japan. And continue to kick myself for not getting them years ago. I did get 3 spare fairlady Z emblems and 3 240Z emblems to have a play with and might do that in future. How different is the FairladyZ emblem Appearance and size compared to the Fairlady emblem? The next big hurdle is finding a set of the headlight covers. Reproductions seem to be available, but I'd prefer a Nissan Pair.

Fast forward a year and paint is long since done. Lack of a shed meant it moved into my living room. Paul and his crew did a fantastic job. I’ve been slowly sandblasting suspension components and just got my bolts back from the platers so I’ll start assembly soon. Almost too scared to touch it. And almost overwhelmed as where to start.

Is the K frame the same for 240 and 260Z?

Hello Gav, its a 73 as far as I remember. Its amazing watching/looking at the photos of Paul and his Crew's work. I stopped years ago because I realised me with a welder was not making shit better. But to see them pop a hatch skin off, fix the frame, fix the skin and put back together like itw as never messed with is just amazing! Mocked up

So I figured I should start a project journal (now there is actually some progress happening) I got a 240Z 15ish years ago, wrecked a few others for some bits and pieces then realised after stripping off all the paint and badly putting in some floors realsied that the whole task was well beyond my ability. (It was bent and rusty) As a broke uni student it got abandoned in my dad's shed sitting on its side on a rotisserie for the next 14ish years. Fast forwards to earlier this year when Paul rang me and said bring it up and they would start to play. My dad was only too keen to get it out of his shed and promptly loaded it onto a trailer and delivered it to Paul (Classic Customs) and this is where the magic has begun. Its been an amazing process to watch and its always awesome to drop in and see the work they are doing. The plan was always for flares and a G Nose (which was sourced through HS30-H 10+ years ago) and sat in my bedroom since then. See attached photos. Its at the stage where I have done absolutely nothing as its all been done by the professionals. Dad getting the car out of the shed (co incidentally with another car I abandoned there 5+ years ago...) Arriving in its sad state That escalated quickly Its a lot further along now, and now I've found the memory stick with photos on it, Ill keep uploading a few.

Thanks for that. I did find those badges and cringed a little. Didn't find the covers though they look great. At this stage the build is lots of amazing rust repairs and straightening by Paul. But I'll put up a build journal soon.

Hello it's a long shot but does anybody have a set of 240zg headlight covers, the fairlady and 240z badges and a set watanabes to suit zg flares. I know it's a long shot but thought I'd ask before I start trawling yahoo auctions. Cheers Chris
