  3. Good evening all, Has anyone fitted a full Fujitsubo system in a 2+2? Is there any Aus supplier? I am fitting a L28 and 5 speed in place of the L26 and auto, any issues that I may run into? Hoping someone can help, Thanks!

The L28 I have had built isn't stock and I just want a straight forward Manual conversion that compliments the engine, the 260z is currently auto , the engine has Stage 2 Cam, flat top hypatec pistons, moly race rings, blue print, triple Mikuni 44s etc. Do all l series 71B boxes fit up to a L28 in a 260z without issue?
  6. Thanks for the help so far, this is my first Datsun/Nissan and I am fairly clueless, Would I be right to assume from the comments that the RB20 box will bolt straight onto the L28 in a 260z 2+2 with no modification?

  8. I'm open to suggestions for other options but I'm told that a RB25 will be the optimum choice.

    L28 engine

    This L28 came with the car, it turned but condition was unknown, it appeared to have never been apart before. It is now nearly ready to put in.
  13. Hi all, Has anyone had any bad experiences with ebay aluminium radiators? is there a better product? I will be converting my Auto L26 to a Manual L28 with a fair bit of internal work. (Pic is what was in the Z) Any guidance would be appreciated. Cheers

  15. What would be a reasonable price for a triple inlet manifold and linkages if I have 40mm Solex Mikunis? I have found 4, 2 on a Toyota and 2 on a Mitsubishi, for what I have been told they are all matching.
  16. This forum is awesome! I am well out of my league with Z knowledge and I really appreciate the help, I understand now that the 50's are the holy grail but my build and budget will never justify them, Would I be correct in assuming a mildly worked L28 is going to be complimented best by 44's if wanting to run triple Mikunis? I have 2 complete engines, a L26 with N42 head and twin SUs and the other is a L28 with N42 and twin Hitachis, what's the thoughts on these Carbs and is the N42 the right head to work with?
