  1. Hey guy, I'm after the part of the bonnet latch that bolts to the bonnet. Currently stopping me from lining up panels for paint so extra brownie points to who ever finds one. I'm located in the northern suburbs of Adelaide Chairs.
  2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LyyGioSVGUw Not sure if this build has been posted here yet but it's one of my favourites. There's just something so relaxed and meticulous about this guys approach.
  3. That underside is goals. Pitty you didn't keep the gold
  4. Scanning parametric parts is very tricky and has been something I've been keeping my eye on for a long time. I had access to a $100k hand held optical 3d scanner at a previous workplace and even that would barely be up to the job!
  5. You guys are too kind. We'll revisit this project when someone else comes along who's as unorganized with their parts as I am
  6. You're right David. Luckily I've found someone in Aus who's happy to part with a set. To anyone ending up here in the future plug-less, contact me and I'll make you up a set. Need to pay forward the hospitality of the forum.
  7. After getting a quote for 5 of the cowl panel plastic plugs shipped from the US (~$80AU) I'm onto looking at alternatives. I run a small 3D printing and design service, the parts would be able to be printed no problem I just don't have anything to reference for the design. This is where I ask a huge favor from a lucky member with a vernier caliper and a good eye. If anyone is able to take out the plastic plug and sketch up a rough isometric drawing with all relevant dimensions I'd be happy to pay you a little for your time or even send you a couple sets if they work.
  8. Great, thanks gill
  9. Really, do you have a link to his eBay store or some contact info?
  10. Yeah that's it, I did see that but I'm kinda on the clock to get them so I thought I'd try local first. Just about the last thing the car is waiting on before paint so I hope they magically turn up.
  11. Hey, has anyone ever wrecked a z and kept the 5 plastic cowl plugs? I took them out to clean the area and didn't put them back fast enough to not lose them
  12. Hi everyone! I've been stalking forum for the last couple years while restoring my rusty 260z so I thought it's about time for an introduction. I'm currently up north in Adelaide, haven't seen many z's up this way besides a little further north around Gawler. I haven't had the time to keep a build thread being a typical student but I've been keeping a log on Instagram of the build over the last two years. I had the car shipped over from WA after seeing a handful of pictures, including several large holes in all the typical S30 spots. Couple years later and a little bit of hard work and the car is in primer with rebuilt suspension and drive line ready to go in. https://www.instagram.com/cory.pritchard/
