Hey all, If anyone has a BCDD for a non-turbo 280zx 82' model it would be great. I've tried adjusting mine but cannot get the car to lower the idle after stopping unless I force the cars revs lower using the clutch. for the time being i've re-routed the vacuum lines to eliminate the device. Just thought I'd add, registered the car on Tuesday. managed to get a "day time" pic. Have a few things coming from the states to try to match the feature level they had. I'd love a set of seats but freight would out way the cost. Did we ever have the single piece seats in Australia?

Hi All, I today I installed a headlight relay kit to my 280ZX so that the headlights receive power directly from the alternator instead of the current travelling from the dash. My only issue now is that the display constantly shows that my headlights have a fault. Is there any way I can trick the headlight sensor into thinking that my headlights are working to remove the warning? A resistor maybe? Hoping someone can help. Thank you, Anthony

Hi, Just got my RWC today, was expecting to have to fix a few more things in terms of drive line but on the hoist I was amazed to see raletivly new Koni shocks both front and rear and new bushes through out, even a new gearbox mount and fuel pump mount.. Also changed all the oils and bled both the clutch and brakes. The discs are almost brand new to but I ordered some slotted rotors from rs rapid as I would like a little more stopping power without having to modify anything. Only minor surface rust on the roof passenger side where the seal is for the tagar roof and the drivers front guard. It appears who ever owned it before the previous owner already used stop rust in there areas to prevent the spread. Also used one of those flex cameras to check the chassis rails and the inside of the guards. Didn't find any surprises. My only issue now is selling my 350gt so I can fund the respray, or I'll have to wait a few months to save up the cash.

Hey all, Picked up a 280ZX last week. My mate found one in a garage a couple months ago and I really liked the look of it, so I had to get one myself. Very minimal rust in only 2 spots, but when I have it resprayed it will be repaired with minimal effort required. Drives well,shocks and bushes were replaced by previous owner. Engine runs, but cold start valve is leaking so I've got a new one on the way. All electrics work even the motorised antenna. Anyway, here's a few photo's I managed to get before the sun went down, hopefully on the weekend i'll be able to have a bit more fun cleaning it up.
