Zstory wishes all its past, current and future customers, families and friends a Happy and, above all, healthy 2019 ! I have some disappointing news to annonce – my next batch won’t be available until end-February and I’ve had to postpone production of my new L28ETurbo manifold for flange compatability issues which cost me some delays, not helped by the Christmas and New Year holiday shutdown. I sincerely apologise for this delay of a month and invite anyone, for whom this presents a problem to contact me via PM. Please rest assured that once they arrive, I will do my very best to expediate tham asap. Best regards and once again, my apologies. Sean

Gosh - I haven't seen this year go by - so busy. Next batch available in January and a lot pre-sold with the current -15% discount. I've done some tweaks here and there for better fitting, finished the Fast-Road header and produced a limited run of stainless-tubular L28ET headers. I still haven't got around to finishing the S30 downpipes between the stock manifold and my exhaust line - that's next ! I did finally sit down and produce a map of clients - not too much detail as I don't want anyones' car stolen but a fun way to see how well you know your neighbours, here it is up to date* : https://www.mapcustomizer.com/map/Zstory exhaust customers *however, I might I have some of you - if so, please contact me via an PM.

Yes indeed. Noted that the word 'anniversary' isn't that legible and it could have read 'years' in bigger test but I feel it had to be that word - it's recognised worldwide and always associated with Nissan. But....the laurel leaves and '50' scream at you - I think. I'll sell the stickers seperately and in anticipation have already ordered a series with just 'Z' and not '240Z' for our later-model cousins and whale-herders. You'll have to let me know which you'd like. 1x sticker posted = AUS$4.5 or two for AUS$7.5 (if you have a friend nearby wanting one to save on some postage).

That's the aim - we should all be on a crusade - this is me starting early and in 2020 (50 yrs after the Z was exported to us lucky few, I'll be celebrating with a huge stand at Le Mans Classic - every year there are +900 Porkers - having just 50x 240Zs and sharing with our other Datsun/Nissan sporting friends to make a 100 cars would already be pretty cool. Rickers....yes, but which Datsun - I see the red/blue on pickups and the like
-
Hiya Rickers. All fair points and we're all entitled to our own view of things. I drew some inspiration from Nissans' anniversary badges (10 years of S and 50 years of Nissan (see attached images) and gold is obvious for 50 years. Next, the badge is only 80mm in diameter and for it to be seen under a shaded grill (from the bonnet/hood), it needs to have clear and distinct colours. A white background was therefore ideal and in any case, 80mm all round is bigger then, for example, your idea. After that, keep the colours simple, not only because more colours cost more money and where mine has 2x (black and gold), yours (for ex) has double that but more colours on an already small image, at distance and shaded losed its' impact. Also, I figured that the word 'DATSUN' would speak for itself irrespective as to whether or not I used period colours schemes...ask yourself, if you removed the 'Z', would you look at your image and think Datsun Z / 240Z ? It could be almost anything and not specifically automobile related. I'm not having a go at you and there are perhaps other designs which might have worked too ; I'm trying simply to emphasise that I thought it through and I figured that the most cost-effective* and 'punchy' image that clearly got the message across was that which I've presented here. *After paying the molds, manufacture, shipping and then covering the cost of shipping it out to you (envelope+postage) and a free sticker (which cost to make etc), there really isn't a great margin and what I make I shall be contributing to our national clubs' first really big indoor classic-car salon next November to celebrate the Zs' 50 years....so all for a good cause ! My aim is to make some serious noise worldwide so that after 50 years hard work, the Z is truly and ubiquitously treated with all the respect it deserves as a true classic car with a full and varied competition pedigree !

Hi chaps. Been a while and I'm sure that you've been as busy as I have elsewhere. The last batch sold out within 2x months and the latest has just arrived meaning that my garage once again becomes a rich 'dump' of cardboard and stainless-steel ! If anyone is interested, not all was pre-paid and reserved. Cheers.

Hi guys and thanks. The price is ok - pay how you wish but perhaps paypal as a gift the easiest and quickest ? The problem is that the seller won't talk to anyone non-Australian and certainly therefore won't ship direct. We need a third party to pay it, get it shipped to them and they ship it to the UK - please. Money can be paid in advance and I'm sure Gavin will speak for me - I'm good for it ! -
