  1. Thanks Mr Camouflage. Its a shame they only did that in the US. Might do some googling to get some more info.
  2. I've only just seen this thread. Hope you're recovering well. If this hasn't been settled I'd suggest contacting a solicitor who handles this sort of thing. Her insurance will not be very helpful and you would be surprised at the things you can claim for.
  3. That looks great. Has anyone had a look in person? I imagine it could be sent to japan and sold for a decent profit if someone had the time and money. Also - "the original Datsun 240Z was so good it even went back into production a second time, with the release of re-manufactured examples to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the original." I've never heard that before. Can someone point me to more info? Sounds similar to the Z-tune R34 Skylines. Was it done in Japan or Australia?
  4. Hi guys, I have a couple of parts from an R33 RB25det: Gearbox - $1300ono Head - $350ono Both located in Bayswater North, Victoria. I can probably arrange shipping by Trans Direct couriers, let me know your postcode for a quote.
  5. Very true. You guys work quickly around here. As the pictures show its in pretty bad shape. It was vandalised several years ago, windows smashed, roof and bonnet jumped on boot lock smashed in with a screw driver/hammer and the rocker cover and had stolen. On the plus side the chassis looked okay, front guards and doors fairly good etc It still has some useful bits and I'm sure someone could restore it if they had a lot of time and cash. I've seen rustier cars restored (mainly Minis!), but it would be a big job.
  6. Ah cheers mate. Thats my ebay listing. Just sent a message to Gav240z to see if I could post it here.
  7. Clutch and master sold. Now asking $100 for all of the Z parts I've got here. Theres more parts than I have listed above.
  8. I'd say that all Z's prior to the Z32 will increase in price in the years to come. They're well built cars, fun to drive and look great. Good "bang for your buck" cars. They're becoming hard to come by in good condition which should help the prices of the well maintained examples. Z32's might drop in price over the next few years, but I imagine they'll become sort after in years to come. I may be completely wrong though!
  9. Windscreen is now scratched and more than likely unroadworthy. Darn dog I'll reply to any PM's shortly.
  10. I have a few parts from a 1975 260z 2+2. Thought I'd see if anyone here wants them before they go on ebay. Located in eastern suburbs of Melbourne (Bayswater). Pickup only, no postage. I'll take $150 for the entire lot if anyone is interested. Rear hatch with window and struts, rusty in the usual places, has writing scratched in to it with a screw driver - $50 Dash air vent panel in good condition - $30 Windscreen with rubber - $40 Handbrake - $40 Clutch pedal and master (will need a good clean/flush) - $30 Drivers side quarter window - $20 Front window wiper motor - $30 Steering column - $30 Sill plates - $30 Rear numberplate light - $20 Brake pedal and box - $30 Assorted bits and pieces - $30 for all Assorted dash parts - $30
  11. Did a quick search and didn't find this listed... Crash damaged 370z: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/NISSAN-370Z-COUPE-2009-MODEL-FRONT-DAMAGE-938kms_W0QQitemZ250532593155QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Cars?hash=item3a54e7fe03#ht_590wt_1165
  12. Thanks for the replies! They're not quite the same as the ones on the Mustard Z. I'll get pics of the actual rims to help out. They're very light even with tyres, but they might be steel. Its a 2+2. Some people here will be annoyed to here that it was used as a paddock bomb for a couple of years prior to being parked. It will probably annoy a few more people when they find out that theres a C110 240K Skyline parked next to it, then VBx2, EJ, EH, HQ, HQ Ute and FJ set of holdens, Valiant ute, a Toyota Crown station wagon from the early 70's and about 10 random cars from the 80's (skylines, pintaras, corollas, coronas etc). Theres also a 318 BMW that was imported from Japan but never complied that was used as a paddock basher sitting there! Next to all of those is whats left of my R33 Skyline...
  13. I've got a '75 260z thats been sitting in a paddock for many years now. I was hoping someone here could help me identify the rims that are on it. Probably a long shot They look like the one pictured below, I'll get a picture of the actual rims next week if its of any help. I can't find any markings on them. Has anyone seen these on a Z before and have any idea of the brand?
