  2. Garvice, just engine, loom and ecu mate, no gear box Pigpen,i think it would be around the $200 mark i'm willing to wack it all on a pallet and wrap it up for interstate buyers Cheers
  3. Cheers mate, I'll definatly post the built in the projects section
  4. Hey guys, I'm looking at selling the rb25 i was going to put in the zed. I'm now going for a rb30/26 engine. The motor is complete with the turbo and everything. Ive removed the p/s pump and aircon but it comes with all the brackets and what not to wack it all back on. The stock inlet manifold is also off but it comes with all this as well as a forward facing plenum. Also comes with ECU and loom. Has traveled 120,xxx kms. I'm after about $1900, but feel free to make an offer. Cheers, Kev
  5. Cheers for that link mick. I think they used the r33 contorl arms in my zed because theyre a bit longer therefore it give the front wheels a fair bit of negative camber. Im just waiting on some s13 coilovers to turn up so i can measure the top and get some cusco strut tops and wack them on. Ill post up some pics when its all done.
  6. Sorry fellas didnt know anybody had replied. I decided to keep the few bars ive got. I figure at some stage im bound to damage one. Cheers
  7. Haha this sheds allready full! we've made room for 6 cars and have the middle section clear for the hoist/benches and what not. And we stillllll have cars that will be left out haha i think the old man is putting in an order for another later down the track.
  8. well not much happened on the zed this weekend, We were hard at it getting the new shed up. Here's some pics
  9. Thats a good point. I know a bloke who does the cams logbooks so ill ask him when i see him next.
  10. I actually wrote strut TOPS not strut Braces. But i do have a front cusco strut brace. It was about $250 i think?? if you after any cusco stuff or anything from japan for that matter, email this guy www.jessestreeter.com He's an aussie living over in japan and he will source whatevers it is you need and arrange to have it sent to you. He's pretty cheap and very helpfull too.
  11. Its all ready to take an s13 coilover so ill just wait until im not so poor and buy a pair, Ive just got to get a pair of cusco strut tops to suit an s30 and they should go straight in:) Thanks anyway dimitri
  12. Yeah mate it will be for sale once i get it out. The rear bars are welded onto a plate that bolts to the shocker tower, and the main hoop is welded to a bracket which is welded to the floor. The bracket is just a piece of 3 or 4mm steel bent 90 degrees. Its a cams approved cage. As far as i know it will go straight into a 240z. Pm me an offer if your interested. Cheers
  13. i'd say so. There's bog in places it doesnt need to be haha
  14. I cleaned all the crap out today and removed the carpet to find 24236487326 bits of steel plate welded on the floor pans on either side. I believe these are available from rare spares, so ill have to order some up soon. Also found a bit of rust under the seal for the hatch at the back and some more at the front when i removed the headlight buckets. I removed the fuel tank aswell to fix up the dodgy installation and replace the tank with an rci cell id allready purchased. Some people just shouldnt try and fix cars......
  15. I nearly bought a pair of those gaurds off lindsay drife that he had sitting around. Didnt get them as i didnt have anything to finish them off (side skirts, rear flares). Now i see there is
  16. Heres the pictures of the suspension set up. As you can see, the silvia coilover has been modified. I think this is because the as you know on some coilovers you cannot adjust the height of the coilover by screwing the threaded sleeve into the bottom bracket to lower or raise it. Im not too sure what theyve done with the strut tops, ill have to have a look when i get them out.But i believe cusco do a top hat to suite the s30's. Using the s13 hub also enables you to chose from a wide range of brake setups such as the standard R32 GTR/R33 gtst front brakes. Let me know what you think!!
  17. I'll pop some up tomorrow night after work.
  18. Gday all, I just picked up my 260z today, which has s13 coilovers in it. It looks to use an R33 lower control arm, s13 hub and the s13 coilover. Has anyone seen this before? Unfortunatly i have to give the coilovers back to the previous owner as we only left them on there so i could get the car home.
  19. He ended up leaving the suspension and wheels on so i could get it home, i'm on the looks out for front struts if you know of any. Cheers
  20. Hey all, Just picked the zed up today which some of you may have seen in on ebay last week. Its a late 73 260z (RS30 010007) which i purchased to use just as a track car. It currently has Fibreglass gaurds, bonnet, doorskins, front spoiler and inspection flaps. It also has a cams approved half cage which will be replaced with a full 6pnt cage i recently bought from bond roll bars. The paint is pretty poor at the moment but im not too fussed at the time being as its only a track car. Ive got a stock RB25DET im putting in it. But first things first i need to fix up the engine bay. It has the usual rust in the lower section of the radiator support, and the po has cut alot of bits out to run intercooler piping. Its all a bit of an abortion so ive got a bit of work to do. We've only just had our new shed delievered so i wont be doing alot of work till thats up. Here's some pictures and ill post up any progress i make Cheers
  21. Yes, ill have to agree. I think its just a 260z 2 seater. I cant remember what was on the compliance plates, i remember the "RS Sport" bit. I spoke with the bloke i bought it off earlier and he said the chassis number was 010007? I'll post the numbers in a post in the projects section on sunday night
  22. Well, i ended up getting the car. Will post up more pics and info in the projects section when i pick the car up. cheers
  23. Thought so, Thanks for that mate. It still might be a good track car.
  24. If it werent for the front i'd definatly have a bid. i don't know now. i'll have to sleep on it. They told me the "RS Sport" stamped on the plate meant it was an original motorsport car, is this true?
