My mother in Sydney is 80+, she has an Echo, , and I believe it's one of the best cars on the planet. I am going to get in future after I finish mucking around with my classics.

I live in Hong Kong which has a great public transport system. I take the tram or bus to work everyday. I have three cars, and these are all toys, and it's very expensive toys. I have counted and one can use all the fingers in both hands as fees for everycar per year.., for example car parking alone is A$500 per car per month!! My thinking is cars are made to be driven, so I wake up very early every morning and drive one of my toys before I get home for work, and I have doing that for the past ten yrs. Not to say weekends , and one can se my cars in every corner of Hong Kong. So having cars as hobbies are very expensive business. Classic cars no matter how well restored and maintained will need fixing if one USE IT, esp in the cut throat traffic these days. If one do not use it like those in discovery series, nothing will happen. To me it's no point, I believe the more you use it , the more it's worth your money back! My cars will live forever, but I don't so I am enjoying every minute and every mile in my cars! Cheers everyone happy motoring!!!

My 240z has a tail lower than the front. Can i put the front springs to the back so that the car is level again, I mean are the front and rear springs interchanable?

Thanks oldmates, I rang the co, and they seem to need the part no, and they say they supply parts to get onto the original stock brackets, hence converting the original to house the sanden 508 compressor. however in my case I have no bracket in the engine at all, just 4 holes in the block? Is that what you've got, do I need to get the original bracket first?? Thanks

Hi I have a 73 240z with L28 engine block, does it mean I've got a 280zx 2800 cc block?? I am going to get an A/C mount for compressor for my car does it mean I should get a mount for the 280zx rather than 240 L24?? Thanks

Hi I am new here , I have a hitachi with round tops on my 240Z 73, after money spend to a carbi specialist tuning, the plugs were fouled quickly, he then recommended reconditioning. That done again and paid, the same fouling my god what's wrong and what should I do , some one mentioned above round top hitachi are good if well tuned, , Should I not loss faith and carry on with this Hitachi, How do you adjust the mixture? Or should I go for SU, if so which model?? and do I need mod to linkages and the rest Thanks for helping!!
