I have for sale a 99% new Genuine Greddy inlet manifold (not one of the cheap copies). It even comes with the water balance pipe, and valving underneath already fitted (and hoses trimmed etc). It comes with everything that came with the maniifold when new, except I have used a small length of the blue silicon vacuum hose....but theres still plenty. The manifold HAS been fitted to the engine, but the engine has never been started. I decided to get a RIPS custom manifold made up, hence the reason for the sale. Also included is a BMI 80mm Throttle body, which is a quality pice of gear ! The Throttle Body also comes with a TPS fitting kit to suit common TPS's. Also included is the adapter I made up to enable the fitment of the intercooler ducting....just needs a paint ! OH !...I also have for sale a Genuine 260Z 3 Core Radiator - near new, but it has had the top outlet moved to the otherside - RB25 Hose now fits straight on. It also has a set of custom brackets to fit a SPAL 16" thermo Fan. I can supply pics if necessary. $150 Im happy to answer any questions. Price - $1500 Woza

Greddy RB25 Maniold + 80mm TB + Adaptor for Z Cars
Woza01 posted a topic in Parts and Tools for Sale
Hey All... I am thinking of selling my RB25 Greddy Manifold & TB and going for a custom one....As you can see form the pics, an adaptor had to be made to enable the intercooler pipework to connect up..without the adaptor, there is no way it would have been able to fit due to the closeness of the TB to the inner guard. Anyway, this will work no problem, however Im thinking of getting a custom Manifold made up, which will free up this one - I will sell the BMC 80mm Throttle body with it (and the adpater if you want it lol)... I havent made up my mind yet, so this post is merely to get an idea if people would be interested or not...If its viable then I will sell it and get the custom manifold made... Both items are BRAND NEW.....they are fitted to the car, but its a long way form being started ! It is a genuine Greddy...NOT one of those cheap copies ! I would be asking around $1550 for all 3 parts....I paid $1400 for the manifold, and $450 for the TB let me know if you might be interested.... -

OK Guys...orders for batch No.2 are closed. Thanks to the few guys from here who have placed their orders - the rest are from Hybridz. I probably wont be doing another run on these, unless interest sunddenly spikes for some reason, as its simply too hard to get enough people together at once to make it viable...it sure has been fun though. I will have 2 sets spare from this batch that will go on ebay when I get them done.... Thanks to everyone who has shown interest.... Warren -

Hi Z Lovers ! This is simply pre-notice that I will be producing the last batch early next week. The Worlds financial problems have made everyone gone quiet, and because I have to produce these kits in batches of 10 to make them viable, its simply too difficult to offer them any longer. Obviously 1 offs can be done, but the cost would be more (not sure how much though), so if you are interested, the time is now. Obviously, if things improve in time and there seems to be enough interest, I will be happy to re-assess then. Please let me know if you are interested. Kit price is AU$500 excluding postage. Thanks ! Warren (Woza01) -

Hey all... I am taking orders for Batch # 2.....I am just wondering if any of you guys that put your name on the list for the first batch, are still interested..... These are the Aussie guys, there is a whole heap of HybridZ names also, but will contact them individually as well. I Currently have 3 Orders....I need at least 6 or 7 to Proceed with the manufacturing process, so if you are genuinely interested, then dont be shy, because its looking like this batch will be the last (due to lack of interest...) 1. sco_aus (tentative) 2. zedevan 3. you do realise that there is still a main seal in the bore that seals the caliper piston to the body ?....this seal prvents fluid escaping at high pressure, so its bound to stop dust getting in under no pressure....
-
Drum brakes require slight residual line pressure.....the springs on the shoes try and pull the shoes back as far as they can. Without the Residual LIne Valve, you would basically have to pump a few times to get a pedal back. Discs dont require this, as the seals in the calipers actaully pull the piston back a poofteenth when the pressure is released, and due to this being such a small amount, very little fluid displacement is required on the next application....

Peter.... Time to develop some 'selective memory' and forget how much you paid.....point is, its all done, and youve got excellent gear now, and at the end of the day (if youre anything like me), have probably saved money by getting the good stuff first time around, instead of buying something that you are never really happy with, only to can the idea and get what you wanted anyway ! haha By the way, Nice handbrake setup...wher'd you get that ?
-
Scando, nope, it was made right...the JB1419 1 inch master physically looks the same as a normal z Master, with the feeds at the bottom. The only difference is that the Front and Rear Circuits are reversed meaning youll need to bend your existing feed pipes a little. This has all been covered already earlier in the thread ! When you fitted the Master, did you remove the one way valved from the outlets ?
-
yeah dude if you can get away with $400 for that upgrade then youve done real well. Hey Guys, seriously....whats with all the concern about dust seals ?.......is there some written law in your state that specifies that you MUST have dust seals ?, or are you worried about maintenance etc ? be interesting to hear some points of view. I know over here in WA, modifications are strictly monitored, and I have several mates who have had no problems getting their Wilwoods passed, without even a mention of dust seals.....LOL...it will just be my luck that Ill fail my engineering check due to lack of dust seals (touch wood !!)

If anyone out there has one, please let me know......best to email me wgilbert@iinet.net.au I need it to replace the voltmenter, and am going to use it to show the Oil Temperature on my RB25Z Cheers all

Ive just pulled out the entire Factory A/C Heater system out of my 76 260Z - Its never worked in the time ive had it, and never tried (wouldnt knwo where to start)....so If you want it all, make me an offer......just dont have any of the underbonnet stuff.....only underdash stuff. As I feel the heat, Im currently doing an aftermarket A/C Heater install in my car which will be much more efficient & neater that the standard system, and whats more, doesnt require any of those ugly vacuum lines & actuators !

Have you considered this gear ? http://www.arizonazcar.com/brake.html Front set is US$789, which on todays conversion rate is around AU$1080....everythings there, everything fits & No mucking around. You even get the option of BIGGER Rotors and 6 POT Calipers for that little extra bit of performance and bling..... well worth it.....i bought the AZC gear for my Z car when the dollar was at 97cents...

OK Z Lovers...Im ready to start taking orders for batch # 2. I learnt a few things while processing the first batch...a few things that were costly to me, so now with the benefit of hindsight, I can be a lot clearer for those who are interested in a kit. The following is directed at all you Aussie Zedders.....If you are in the US, please visit the thread on HYBRIDZ for info thats more relevant to you....here is the link to the applicable page... http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?p=1008705#post1008705 - Kit price is AU$500 - Payments by direct deposit - if you want to use Paypal, thats totally fine, however youll need to add in the 3.4% they charge for fees - Total of $518 - Your Payment remains in my account (PayPal or Bank) untill item has been posted (this is in case I need to refund for some reason) - Postage to most parts of Australia using stardard Aussie Post services is around $30 including Registration and $500 insurance - I am happy to accept any payment method to reduce or eliminate unwanted costs....im flexible. - I need a minimum of 10 orders to make the machining and cable manufacture process viable....I am happy to start the ball rolling after I have 8 orders. - Full Payment of the kit price ($518) confirms you as 1 of the 10 minimum. If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. Currently I have 2 confirmed orders..... Thanks everyone. Warren Perth, Western Australia -

Hey C, good to hear from you. I too had this issue upon my first install. After fiddling around I found that its crucial that its setup correctly....the pads in the spot calipers had to be adjusted tight against the disk before the cable is connected, and then backed off ever so slightly to allow the disk to rotate without any dragging. The lock nut is then tightened and movement of the calipers' lever to apply the brake is minimal - the 2nd time I took it out for a test i couldnt get any more than 3 or 4 clicks of movement on the handbrake lever. - It was a vast difference from my first test. So, go through the process thouroughly again and you should get a better result. I will update this in a couple of days when my new cables arrive.... Thanks for the feedback Warren
