  1. Trust me - using the hammer gets old quick - especially when your stupid piece of crap car starts doing it every day, in -15 degree rain...
  2. In theory, yes, you can change your camber by using an adjustable strut brace, but it would only be by a minimal amount.....
  3. Water bottle? Isn't it the battery on that side? Or are 240's different to 260's.....
  4. I'd say he positioned it there, because there wasn't anywhere else to put it By the time you put all the exhaust manifold runners in, at equal length, the turbo has to just go wherever it can in a zed engine bay And speaking of exhaust manifolds, i got my 6 into 1 extractors last weekend, going to stick them on this weekend
  5. What did it cost you to get these made up? I need a full skin for my right hand door.....
  6. I paid $2000 for mine at the end of last year, 260z 2 seater auto, some quite bad dents, not a heap of rust (comparatively speaking), came with complete rear panel, L28E with all the gear to get it running, and a 280zx 5 speed gearbox. Definitely a project car, but still....
  7. Basically just a bump - what front spoilers can be got from where, and how much? And specifically this one: http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=12108&size=big&sort=1&cat=500 Very similar to the MSA one, but I think its slightly different - anyone found this one?
  8. Just discovered AllZparts have both front and rear strut braces for the zed... http://www.allzparts.com.au/special.htm
  9. Thank you Gav - that is awesome, made me click onto the adjustable control arms easy as, instead of the few hours headscratching it would have taken me to work out how best to do it... you're a champ.
  10. If you want to have adjustable castor on your front wheels, what I intend to do is set up an adjustable castor rod - IE. Cut a piece out of it, and have like a tie rod kind of setup there. Land Rover Discovery Series 2 and Range Rover HSE (95 - 2001) have a male to female threaded piece (alloy) about 5 cm long in the drag link, which is used to adjust the front wheel toe in/out. Once you first set your castor up properly, you would only need to mark it then adjust the same amount of turns on either side. I am currently trying to work out the best way to adapt this for use in this situation - and also maybe for an adjustable rear strut brace, so that I don't have to spend $200 on the whiteline one. As far as camber goes, I'm thinking about it, but haven't had any revolutions yet.... Unless you could modify the mounting point for the lower control arm, in such a way it can be slid towards or away from the centre of the car.....
  11. Whiteline DO do an adjustable rear strut brace for the 260z (Should also fit 240?) 1 / 1 / Alloy adjustable / Nissan 260Z Rear Strut Brace Code: #KSB609 Price: AU$194.55 (Australian Dollars) NOTE: Australian deliveries must add 10% GST Go to www.whiteline.com.au, click webstore, and search 260z

  13. What colour are your stock seats?
  14. Nasty.... Good luck to dale with getting it back on the road...
  15. The power output may be the same, but I suspect the torque curves would be vastly different.....

    Filler...

From the album: Work in progress

The same story all over - DEEP filler... I reckon I could have made about 5 kilos out of what i removed. Was done well, but WAY too much.
