Paulo Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 Hi all, A mate of mine has decided to dismantle his rally Skyline which has matched triple 40's, mod head (and cam) and is attached to a L28. The L2.8 comes with a spare engine. Ideally, he would like to get rid of it in one hit, the dollar amount is around the $1900 mark. Contact Mick King 0247 353057 at Emu Plains - tell them Paul sent you, I'll donate some dollars to the forum from any sale that eventuates. And does this combination go? You bet your sweet bippy it does! Results sheet from AMSAG rallies testify to it being a front runner in the hands of his son, Dave. Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted August 24, 2011 Moderators Posted August 24, 2011 You may have an issue fitting the front sumped L28 from a Skyline in a zed..can be done but a little work is involved. Don't mean to put anyone off, just so there are no nasty surprises. Quote
blk180 Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 Is this still available, what type of skyline did it come out of? Hmmmm nevermind i will call tomorrow. Quote

Zedman, I assume the sump and oil pick-up could be swapped with those from an L28 with a rear mounted sump, or is the block itself different? Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted September 8, 2011 Moderators Posted September 8, 2011 Oil galleries have to be drilled and tapped and others blocked. Not impossible but if you reeeeaaaalllly want to do it, you can. Quote
aidannn Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 hey just wondering if this numbers correct. ive tried calling a few times this past week and it just rings out. Quote
blk180 Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Also having the same problem, tried a few times at different times of day. Quote
Sirpent Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Instead of 0247 Maybe try 0297 Seems to make more sense. Quote
PZG302 Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Instead of 0247 Maybe try 0297 Seems to make more sense. The 0247 number is correct, Emu Plains is just west of Penrith, coincidently my old stamping ground. Mick may have been away on holidays for the last week, it was rally Australia up at Coffs over the weekend just gone. Quote
