red76z Posted December 18, 2012 Author Posted December 18, 2012 The last picture is the main reason for the mod. Quote
PeterAllen Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Excellent work Scott. Just remember for the LS1 you need to have the same pad area as a manufactured car fitted with an LS1 and the M/C reservoir needs to have the capacity of all the pistons bores in the calipers i.e. surface area of the pistons x thickness of the pads Quote
red76z Posted December 18, 2012 Author Posted December 18, 2012 I am now looking for a 1" master cylinder. I had a look at your booster install as I have the same booster that you have and It does look a bit big, and a mission to fit. The front brakes are from the Hylux. So that should stop the car. The engineer is happy with this conversion. As he said the Z weighs about 600kg lighter than the Commodore. Thanks for your comment. Quote
handsandwhich Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 The bike must hammer with that engine. But where do you sit? Quote
