Are these Z seats?

Can anyone confirm whether these are Z seats? If so which one are they from?

 

I've picked up a project 260z (2+2) and these were in there. The rails are attached rather dodgy like (they clearly werent made to fit the car), which got me thinking.

hmmm... that's not nice. Another surprise. Wish I could get my hands on the guy that molested this poor car!

 

What's a pair of Z seats go for? Would I even have a chance of finding any?

Yeh they show up on eBay from time to time. Put a wanted add here on the forum. Some one is bound to have a set lying around

I just sold a set of as-new reconditioned seats with about 5,000km on them for $150

I just stripped two of them to bits and threw the metal to scrap. Why not go for MX5 seats or RX8? I have fitted both to Zeds.

I'm trying to keep it as original as possible. So it would be nice to get some Z seats. The rest of the car is getting a complete retrim, so I dont care what condition theyre in really.

yes they are z car seats they are from a series 1 280zx they do however look to be retrimmed at one stage
