vramjee91 Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 hey guys, I am currently in the process of converting my auto into a manual, and have a few questions. 1. Is anyone able to let me know the size of the flywheel bolts? 2. I understand that the transmission bolts are different size to the Auto, is anyone able to tell me the size of the bolts? 3. Is anyone able to also tell me the size of the slave cylinder bolts? Furthermore I was wondering if there are any other bolts that I may need if I was to convert from the gearbox side only?? Help would be appreciated guys Cheers Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted November 29, 2012 Moderators Posted November 29, 2012 You will need flywheel bolts with "MT" on their heads as the auto ones have "AT" and are shorter. Transmission bolts (bell housing I assume?) for the manual are M12x60. Slave cylinder bolts are M8x30 or 35? Can't remember exactly.. Quote

Retro Z Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Vivek make sure you torque the flywheel bolts properly with a torque wrench. I can't remember exactly what the figure is, perhaps someone can chime in. Quote
