240z body/interior parts, need tailshaft

Got a 71 240z that's missing a few parts, I'll list what I'm after below and even if you could point me in the right direction that'd be awesome  , engine is priority so I can get rego

 

- front and rear bumpers

- passenger headlight bucket and lower bit

- front valance

- all gauges

- door trims

- seats

- carpet

- center console

- tail lights(have surround already)

- seat belts

- tailshaft

- slave cyclinder and flexi line

- engine mount brackets

 

 

Can pickup anywhere in Sydney and a bit further, otherwise I'll organise freight

If you will be happy with a L24 out of a 240K, I know of a friend who has one for sale...$50 if you want it. Don't think it needs a rebuild, should be ok but I can't promise anything! As with the rest of the bits, come with a trailer to Melbourne and I can help with 85% of your list.

Does that $50 come with all the gear? Extractors, carbies, dizzy/leads, flywheel/clutch? Where's he located?

 

I can get a running L26 with a bigger cam, 240 carbies and clutch for $500 so just weighing up options

 

 

... The 85% of my list doesn't require a trailer... Do you want to get rid of the car they're attached to?

No other bit on it other than flywheel and single carby. He is located in Burwood in Vic.

 

All the parts aren't on a car; they are in crates/pallets. Best you come and sift through the bits.

How many different tailshafts are there? My box is the flange type, unsure what diff. What can I use?

you need an early 240z tailshaft as you have the flange output box. Later years had spline.

I have a collection of early flange to flange tailshafts, let me know what is the compressed/pushed in, length of what you need, i can have a look for a correct length.

Or, anyone know the compressed length??

Probably just try and get the right one rather than guessing lengths and stuff

I've got the front valance/stone tray plus the sections either end that the indicators sit in.  If you're keen, $50 plus you organise freight from postcode 7109 TAS.
