Pintara U12 Rear Discbrakes

Hey everyone..

 

just wondering if anyone has any information whether these brakes will work i searched on hybridz and found sum info but majority of links were dead (the post there finished in 2003). My mates has a pintara trx as his daily and another in the backyard for parts, going to go over when i get a chance and try and see if the brakes are gonna work with my 260z..

 

If everything goes to plan id be more then happy to do a annotated writeup on how to do it for all you other z fanatics out there... if anyone has any insight into this conversion please reply to this topic..

U12? There is a bit of info with pics on the R31 upgrade. Not sure about U12?

yer r31 is the rwd model and u12 is the fwd model the post that i read on hybridz said u12 so i dunno it might work.. flatout this week will try get around there next week...

Hi Ben,

Yer the R31 rear disc conversion is close to a bolt on from what I have heard. The only part that might be tricky is how to mount the handbrake. I've had it ready to install for some time however just no time to instal. A write up would be excellent, if you do so take comprehensive pics and send us some words via the site e-mail as we are putting together these sort of tech articals via the front page.
