EOI: Steel wheels 15 or 16" x 10 -40

I am looking at ordering some steel rims from Full lock motorsport, but to do this size they need a minimum of 20 wheels ordered.

So, as always, I am put out an EOI to see if the crew here would want any wheels?

 

First we would need to decide if we are having 15 or 16" diameter.

 

So, we need 5 people, myself included to be interested.

These wheels would warrant flares.

They will be about $120 a wheel

and they look something like this, but will have much more dish.

 

Anyone keen?

They look like Diamond Racing Wheels, a US company makes them basically any width/offset around US$90 per wheel from memory. I might be keen for a set in a couple months or so if they do quantity deals.

Information is as follows,

They are made by Gecko wheels Australia, but Gecko wheels do not do custom sizes for small orders unless you are a company or something. So, I know of a company that does operate with Gecko, but only do orders for a minimum of 20 wheels.

So at this stage we are looking at 16x10 -40 I believe, or there a bouts.

These will fit on car with ZG flares (with a couple of mm of poke on 0 degrees camber.

 

I do need definite numbers, postage will be to your door, and a deposit will be required after we confirm the order with the company.

Me and Stivva are actually dealing with Diamond racing and they are $130 each they will only do a max of 10 inch wide. They dont recommend any wider as they said 'run out' issues. Any wider than 10 inch they want $150 extra but hesitant.

 

Freight is $400 for 2 sets of 16x10 from Diamond. But they are so slow with emails... been nearly a week since my last email to them. So i think this Gecko wheels company is the GO

Sounds good to me and keeping it local all the better i'll put my hand up for a set, just let me know when a deposit is required PM me the details.

 

Also a question - is the 15" or 16" option the same size centre with a diffrent rim size?

Honestly, not sure. But I think they may have the smaller face.
