current value of original 1982 280zx rims?

hey, i have a full set of original 280zx rims that i wanted to know the value of.... they have a lot of caked up road dust but i am getting them polished by a proffesional

 

if anyone knows the value it would be greatfully appreciated

Hey Timmy, I wouldn't get them polished un less you have some one interested in them. Or are you keeping them for your self. The 260z wheels are all most a give away, but $100 to $150 is asked for them. So the 280 zx wheels would about the same. You will only get what someone is willing to pay. Most of the zed guys buy other rims. But the Datto 1600 guys use them. Cheers, and welcome to the forum.

I listed a set of 14 X 6 rims on ebay for scrap price (bluebird rims) this month and no takers. They went to scrap and i got $10ish a rim.

The 5 spoke ones require the special shanked nuts, the four spoke "iron cross" ones can use any nut.

If you wer up my way, local pickup, i'd consider them, prob about 20$ each, tops,

thanks all for your help i now know that they arnt worth much haha.... i will most likely polish them up and pop them back on the datto until i want to upgrade to something a bit more modern design
