I looking for suggestions of good spots to take pics. e.g Graffiti walls Old factories Deserted rail way tracks Twisty road.......etc. Here are some of my old ones.....not great camera to skills for that matter ; ). Flemington Markets carpark At Wakefield by Vince Old factory in Strathfield Lookout Near Ivy bar in CBD As you can see mine aren't that great at all except the one of Vince on the track. Tj Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 In Sydney out front of the National Art Gallery near Mrs Macquaries Chair is a good one Also, late on a quiet night you can get right in front of Luna Park. Just make sure you know how or know someone that can take decent night photography as the tower throws out a hell of a lot of light Quote
sydney mike Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 We had a really good night at olympic park a few years back: http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,2968.0.html unfortunately the pic links don't work anymore. The photographer(George) no longer owns a zed but I am still in touch with him, I reckon he takes good snaps: Quote
auz Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 going down through the national park towards wollongong there is a sort of lookout area next to the ocean and at night you get fantastic light in the background from wollongong and if your lucky and do a long exposure shot a car will drive through the road and lightup the winding road through the bush in the background as well Quote
Veloce Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 The time of day the photo is taken is the most important.... either early morning (just after sunrise) or in the evening as the sun starts to set. The light is too harsh in the middle of the day for a good pic. The less "busy" the background the better i reckon. Quote
