going down through the national park towards wollongong there is a sort of lookout area next to the ocean and at night you get fantastic light in the background from wollongong and if your lucky and do a long exposure shot a car will drive through the road and lightup the winding road through the bush in the background as well

yeah all this is fairly contradictory because on another section of the site it says a p platter cannot drive any vehicle with engine modificationsthat require a engineers certificate and then in what you sent me it says no modifications and then the guidelines for modification don't have an issue as it is under 20% increase, as well as the fact that people say its fine as it was offered in that chassis.

if this is the case in nsw are you aware anywhere on the rta website where it says the legalities of this because I have been searching but can not find anything about a latter model engine swap on p's on their website

oh that is great news i was almost 100% sure i had to convert back to the l24, i will look further into this thanks heaps.

hi guys, after a lot of searching about converting a 240z with a l28 back to an l24 I decided that I should join this forum so I can get definite answers. From my searching so far I haven't been able to find out what would have been done to the wiring in the car to suit the l28. It would be extremely helpful if one of you guys were able to list the alterations/new parts that will be needed to convert back to the l24. I know someone will want to ask why, the reason is the two 240z's i've been looking at to purchase over the last month have both been converted to an L28 and as I will be on p plates and an engine swap is not permitted. thanks in advance
