Corsa224 Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 Hi all, just wondering if anybody has a layout of how to reconnect the heater pipes that are located on the side of the block. Some have tee pieces with a pressure regulator, some have a straight through pipe. Whats the best option and way to connect them all up. Thanks C Quote
Riceburner Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 The 'y' or 't' piece is used when running the extra water line through the su manifold. If no SU's then just go straight to the heater. Quote
Corsa224 Posted March 29, 2012 Author Posted March 29, 2012 Awesome, thats what i needed to know. Do I need to do anything with the connection in the back of the head or is that for the other side of the heater? Quote
Riceburner Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 That elbow is the return from the heater. Quote
Riceburner Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 Actually, the hose joins the radiator hose fitting that supplies the water pump, so that line down the side of the block should be pulling water back to the front of the engine. The head is under pressure from the pump so that elbow at the rear would be supplying the heater. Sorry for the confusion Quote
