Pedro Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Bought wrong size shifter extender for my L series shifter (which is a couple of inches shorter than stock length as is) Brand new never fitted. wont fit L-series thread but will fit RB/other nissan/mazda [10x1.25] A lot of guys are into these now as it gets your shifter closer to you. Should fit various cars incl mazda, nissan. its a type III listed there below – it’s a nice piece of machine spun stainless. a high quality part. dont know if anyone will be interested just thought i would put it up and see what happens. I have to get one elsewhere to get the size I need. a pic: http://www.chasebays.com/content/products/3297/main.jpg where i got it: http://circuithero.com/products.php Features •120mm overall length allows for a 90mm extension placing shifter closer to the steering wheel •Easy Installation •Very reasonably priced for the "true" enthusiast •10 x 1.25mm thread pitch (Fits most Nissan, Infiniti, Mitsubishi, Mazda applications) Construction •High Grade Stainless Steel SS303 construction •Lifetime guarentee against breaking •Counterweighted at 82 grams •Machine Spun Stainless finish Owes me $40, chasing $25 incl shipping australia wide Quote
luvemfast Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Pics? Would extend the actual brow though wouldn't it? Unless you have a some sort of short shifter Quote
Pedro Posted March 4, 2012 Author Posted March 4, 2012 This is EXACTY it: http://www.chasebays.com/content/products/3297/main.jpg I am led to believe mixed with a short shifter they get the best result. not sure precisely what you mean by extend actual brow in the result means, but probably throw area, which yes by the nature of increasing the length of the shifter increases a little on a standard shifter.
