grretc Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 For Sale is a R200 CLSD from a 1988 300zx turbo. I am unsure of the condition because I bought it used and have never had the chance to run it. Slowly my project is heading in a different direction. Ratio is 3.7:1 I am located in San Jose, California, United States This is for the DIFF ONLY I don't have the axles. Price is $750 OBO. Shipping will be tough, but I'm willing to do it if the buyer is willing to pay for it to be shipped. I have a palet ready for this thing to be strapped on. I'm not sure which shipping company I would use to ship this, but for those of you looking to get an estimate it's about 70-80 pounds not including the palet. The nearest port to me is the San Francisco port. Random question: Do you guys think San Francisco is cool? Because my friend in France tells me everyone there wants to visit SF. Just wondering if the rest of the world thinks the same thing. Cheers! Let me know if you guys have any questions! I will post pictures soon! Will take trades for AUS 240z tail lights + cash or AUS front turn signals + cash. Minh Quote
jamo240 Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Hmmmm....I lived in Los Angeles for two years, but never got to SF, so not sure if it's cool or not. But...dirty Harry did the famous 44 Magnum scene there "....feeling lucky punk".....so that alone must make it a little bit cool hey?! Jamo Quote
luvemfast Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Think your pricing is a bit ambitious? Quote

grretc Posted January 13, 2012 Author Posted January 13, 2012 Think your pricing is a bit ambitious? No not really. As it was stated this is the going price on my side of the pond. I have no idea how much these things are going for over in Australia. Anyone care to chime in by pming me their offer? Quote
luvemfast Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Think your pricing is a bit ambitious? Mainly, due to shipping costs here with no shafts. And the fact, even you state it's in unknown condition. Quote
dat2kman Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Is this a short nose diff? Dunno, what year Nissan swung over, i know that the early 1990's 300zx's were all short nose, and used a viscous centre. Have you pulled the back cover off? Maybe take a pic or two. Yeah freight is a killer, im looking to get heavy items freighted to US and Europe, fedex and dhl are approx $340 for 15 kgs! If its a shorty they do weigh a bit less! If so, and it as a proper clutch pack centre, but the ratio is average, some of us here may be interested in just the centre alone, easier to freight too, and not hard for you to remove! Quote
