Engine brackets for lifting via crane

Hey guys, I'm after the brackets that bolt to the motor allowing it to be hooked up to a crane as i don't have them and would like to use them

 

My mechanic mate is telling me to just make up my own with some thick plate, but obviously i'd prefer to have the real bits

I dont have one but the past two motors I've done I've just used chain with a HT bolt into the block in multiple locations... has worked every time no worries

i lift motors with rope around whatever i can loop it through. same piece of rope has lifted like 8 motors now, some with gearbox (one a big old diesel 6 with 4x4 gearbox and transfer on the back).

I frequently use a towing cable. Wrap it around the motor twice and loop it through the hook on the engine crane, it means you can also shift the loops to change the balance of the motor! I've done 5 motors with mine and it's not showing any wear.
