garvice Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Hey Jason, I am interested if they are still available when pay day rocks around next week. If not, then someone got a bargain. Good luck with the sale. Brad Quote
dat2kman Posted December 26, 2011 Author Posted December 26, 2011 Yeah Brad, let me know what you want? Atm ypur in for first pick its taken a bit to strip this thing, now i have a heap of other useless h30skyline crap to get to the scrappers, theres not much we can use, shame to see them chucked away, this one was full of rust, forum member got to it first pulled off the turbo stuff, the surge tank, a decent fuel pump, guages, even an oil pump, and left me to strip the rest Quote
navanskyine Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 fuel pump is poo just gonna buy a new one Quote
dat2kman Posted December 27, 2011 Author Posted December 27, 2011 3.9 r200 open complete is still up for grabs. Garvice is a girly woman!!! Quote
260DET Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Yep this ratio will suit a Z with real power that can go a lot faster than some little gay four cylinder revving its tits off with a truck ratio diff It is a long nose R200 I asume, R31's on used the short nose? Quote
dat2kman Posted December 27, 2011 Author Posted December 27, 2011 Yes, last of the LongDongs, mista richard-san! Quote
Z Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Jason I could be interested in the "trail arms comp flanges" if you will seperate. Got myself in a right bind as I have a shortnose kit, 300zx CV axles and now have to either continue with them (with your help maybe) or just go Wolf Creek instead! If I count the hours I've spent thinking about this it'd be in to the weeks! All suggestions about "my issues" welcome Quote
dat2kman Posted December 27, 2011 Author Posted December 27, 2011 Looks like all items SOLD to RLY240 on here, subject to confirming transport costs, and pending payment Quote

At transmisdion f power, with less friction losses, not sure about the 300 zx cv shafts, someone on ozdat was saying tjey are a flanged each end with four bolt to suit our 260 diff stubs, and outboard flanges?? Not sure? Good pal up here, but not on forums, he is 72 years old, please forgive him, has a very wicked b30 engined 260, it sets some bloody quick track times, yes at 72 y/o!! He jad major issues with getting the cv shafts right, as the ones he had came rrom???, he ended up getting a local guy up here in Brissy to machine out of billet some sort of companion flange that worked. His issue was at xtreme droop, the cv inboard end would pop out of the diff, and leak diff oil past the spiral grooves Quote
Z Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Ahh that's okay, they weren't meant to be I'll check about 260 flanges but there is also these guys who sell flanges: http://www.chequeredflagracing.net/Datsun.html I'm not using Modern Motorsports as their service was disgusting (got the shortnose R200 kit but communication was shocking added with a $70 charge for handling I didn't know about)! At the end of the day it is (more) common to use the 300zx axles on the longnose R200 (with flanges say, from link above) on Zeds. So I might just sell them to help fund some Wolf Creek axles, hoping they can change one end of their axles to fit R33 R200 (5 bolt), bring on the traction control! His issue was at xtreme droop, the cv inboard end would pop out of the diffThe 300zx axles are good too, but I'm sure your old mate knew to turn the actual axles around to fit in Zeds properly? http://www.modern-motorsports.com/xtrainfo/z31-cv-conversion.pdf Quote
