So i was bad and didn't do this first so here goes

My names peter and I'm a z addict

The problem is my 74 grs30 2+2 #889

Ive had this thing for about 17? years maybe more

i got it as a kid and it was pretty ruff rusty but went hard

we got it painted up and it looked OK ill get a pic later

it ran a f54 p90a head flat tops and the twin carbys

it could run off the clock!

i broke pretty much the entire drive line at times

so after 3 diffs 2 gboxs and 2 and a half engines it ended up with a full 280zx drive line

years go by it breaks again i park it this is 1997!!!

i played with the idea a few times but never got round to it and so it sat...

until this month!!!

so the plan now all that old stuff is outta there for good and I'm getting newer more flashy stuff to ruin 

plan being so far...Rb25det 5 speed (Ive got crs mounts on the way McKinney sump and some other stuff)

ordering something better than the hilux 4 spots for the front eg azc 4 spot willwoods (1 email away from order but 2 weeks min wait dam you new year!!)

probably silver mine stage 4 rears unless someone hits me.....

ill fully rewire the thing cos it always had a mind of its own and all the while ill have a go at the rust that has come back in spots (not to bad considering hatch is the worst bit) and yeah theres other ideas about suspension etc but it sat this long i can take a bit more time

best thing is ill have a few bits to sell that might be of interest to ppl eg the old stuff that still sorta works or can again so we might be able to help each other there?

anyway sorry for the novel I'm just a bit excited and trying to keep the vibe this time so i dont buy anymore Chev powered distractions!!!

OK so the datsun is back in the z cave to start work

theres about 10 years of dust on her that's not gunna fly!!

the drivers side drum brakes where locked on like a gorilla

i finally got the drum off and the pad bits fell off the shoes like they where cardboard!!!

lucky theres some shiney new calipers and disks on there way!
