So I bought a topstage bobtail destined for a 240z or 260z, however, being one of the lonely S130 owners, I decided to do something different.

Just wanted to show in case other S130 owners were wondering if S30 wings would ever fit, it's actually not too hard! With about 2 hours and an angle grinder, you can get them to fit like a glove.

Pictures below!

what does the topstage wing look like before your mods? is it the higher version of the bre lip? (trying to work out how it normally follows the body) where did you get it from?

interesting work with the 260z 2+2 lights, are you going to trim the panels slightly to sit completely within the 280zx frame?

The only shaping we did was planing the egdes near the rear quarter panels so they didn't touch when the boot was closed and shaped grooves at the edges of the hatch as it's slightly wider on the 280's than the S30s.

Benny is right on, it's really good quality, even when attacked by an angle grinder!

Also with the S30 rear lights, I don't plan on fitting them into the 280 light recesses just because they're too small to do so. I'm happy with the way they fit now and they're air tight so I'll be keeping them this way for a while to come!
