redrbzed Posted November 1, 2011 Author Posted November 1, 2011 Well, had a reasonable day at Sandown, only got 2 runs, first run was after lunch and was lined up for the third run and it started to drizzle so I called it a day. In the driver training group there were 2 crashes in the morning which really slowed things down, and a few breakdowns during the day which didn't help either. So, managed a PB, 1:19.48 with a theoretical best of 1:19.18 which is all the best sector times combined. With a bit more consistency I can see a low 19 possible. Was beaten on the day by a Supra that Peter Mc has something to so with, he did a 1:17.4 (a very fast time!) cheers, Sinisha Quote

Dale got told his car was too loud so packed it up after 2nd run. I'm hoping to get to the Island for the last PIARC sprint, 12th/13th of November. John Quote

A guy I used to race against moved to Vic and said he was planning to run some club days last time I was talking to him. His name is Kelvin, say hi to him if you spot him, he's one of the nicest blokes you'll ever meet and quite switched on. His R31 gets along alright too. Quote

Scando Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Yeah John, that's him. That 25/30 makes great power for what it cost him to build. I spoke to him a few months ago to get info for my own build and he hadn't ran any events then but said he wasn't far off having the car ready again. Great to hear he's getting into it, I'll have to catch up with him again and see how it's going. Quote
