hady260z Posted October 10, 2011 Author Posted October 10, 2011 Hi, There was another guy on the forum from south of KL with a 280zx but we haven't heard from him in over 12 months. Welcome to the forum. Post some pics and information about the cars please. How is the price and availability of parts over there? thanx bro.. the 280zx is much more available then a S30 ..i think maybe in malaysia just got under 10 unit only becoz malaysian people were not rich at 70s..and now here can see 350z 370z everywhere in malaysia. the price is depends on the luck.. my fren got S30 at RM14k malaysia and i got mine at RM15K only. the Z classic car parts is extremly rare and depends on luck also.. but others car like silvia skyline engine and parts is more than a local proton parts.. i can see the price of Z32 air flow sensor where really high in aussie but in malaysia we can get low as Rm500 for a good condition of Z32 AFM.and the power FC can get around RM2.5K and new about RM4K. i personally got my power fc at Rm1.5K with commander. and install it to my A31 nissan cefiro.. my humble ride. year 74 datsun 260z 2+2 curretly i just strip out the whole interior and see the floor conditon and need to rebuild it from bare metal. im going the prepare for bare metal and replace the floor by my self since i got the access to lot of fabrication machine in my workplace. going to build a rollcage and custom strutbar around this lady not forget front air dam .the grill . then after that will going to sent to paint. . Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Thats an interesting body kit. I haven't seen one quite like it before. I personally would keep it how it is with the exception of the extended front number plate mount. Keep us informed of your progress and questions. Quote

. Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Errrrr I'm not sure I understand. That body kit was metal? That is rare at least these days. Also it looks like it was all integrated (joined together) so if you removed all that how are you going to replace all the missing parts (panels etc)? Don't take this as a criticism, its just a very interesting project. Quote
Quandary Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Welcome. That bodykit dumbfounded me. I couldn't see any joins, but still not sure that it's metal though. How are you sure? Quote

BobsYourUncle Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Looks like you've got a fair bit of work - I guess the climate in Malaysia doesn't help the rust situation. Quote
