Cheap new 16" tyres

Fellas, I popped down to my local Bob Jane this arvo to look at some 16' tyres...Ive always been partial to the kumho's so I enquired about the kumho Ku37 225/50/16 which BJ sell for $172 fitted & balanced, the manager then chuckled & showed me the Bob Jane branded "Zetum Zu37" which is in fact the Kumho Ku37....the exact same 225/50/16 is $135 fitted & balanced ! bloody good price.....I really liked the look of the tread pattern. anyway keep it in mind when your looking around.

Think you will find that zeetum is manufactured in China where the Kumho is out of Korea. They are both bought in by Kumho, just that BJ has a licensing agreement so exclusive. A chinese tyre in that size should only be $120 or less, I sell Toyo for less than their Kumho price and that is Jap made (much better quality).

Remember BJ spend about $7mil per year on advertising - somehow you have to pay for it - a;ong with his VE ute racecar, his GT3 porsche racecar he also has a touring car masters car too I think.
