Administrators gav240z Posted July 12, 2005 Administrators Posted July 12, 2005 It's been quiet on the forums lately is it because all the updates I keep raving about haven't been happening? I know I know I've been a little slack well actually I haven't I've been looking for a new job. Had an interview today and 2 on Thursday so I'm hoping to get one and start earning some money again so I can start doing stuff on the Z. I'm waiting on some bits to arrive from the US to install my new suspension can't wait for that. Hopefully I can continue with the engine build after that I've been told the engine head has been ported and will flow 700HP not likely I'll be producing that without some snails on the side but hey it sounds cool doesn't it? I've been playing with a design idea for the site not sure if it will be everyones taste but check out the website development section for a preview. Other than all that crap about me what's been going on with you guys? Did someone cut your fingers off and now your all unable to type? Just kidding around. Quote
Lynton Posted July 13, 2005 Posted July 13, 2005 Hey Gav, I think the silence has been school holidays and end of the financial year tax and GST all happening  Lynton Quote
zr240 Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 Hi Gav I have been spending as much time on getting the z back on the road. You know you wont be able to shut me up once its back on the road again Quote
Natez Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 school holidays and time spent on Z = not much time on the net Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted July 18, 2005 Author Administrators Posted July 18, 2005 Good to hear mate I'd offer you a hand but I'm a busy person working full time now. Good part I guess is I'll have more money for the Z. I'm working right near you I believe you work at the Rialto yeah? I'm working 2 doors away at Melbourne IT. We'll have to meet up for lunch one day. Maybe on the weekends I can give ya a hand . I'm still waiting for my suspension bits from the US to work on mine hoping it arrives this week . Quote
matt drago Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 hehe, what a cracker! I used to work for MelbIT, what dept. are you working in? If in development, say g'day to the ol' gang for me. Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted July 18, 2005 Author Administrators Posted July 18, 2005 I'm in Search engine optimisation or search engine marketing depending on what way you look at it. I don't think I know the guys in development yet. I think it will be a good place to start out for now and although it's not a creative role as such it should be a good way to start my career and get my foot in the door. I'll be sure to say hi from Matt if I meet anyone this week in Development though. Quote
