Time to get some touch up paint for the z, trying to make it look at least respectible before the nationals. Does anyone have the datsun colour codes, I am going to take an inspection flap in with me but a code would be a much better starting point.

The code might noty be a as good as an idea because although you might get the right code the existing paint might have faded slightly so I would say your better off getting it matched up!

Here are a couple of sites that have paint codes for the different Z's. It is US based, but I think that the codes were also used here. I'm painting mine 901 silver and when I went to the paint shop, they knew what I meant when I asked for that colour code.

The colour codes will be a good starting point and then matching to the inspection flap is the way to go. Have done that with great results when I had to get the old "Redback" (Datsun 200B GX, first car) repainted after a meeting with a fence.
