BenZed Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Alan Fielding runs an L28 with triple 45 Webers..........he has raced his Zed for the last 20 + years (way back to the halcyon days when Zeds dominated Marque Sports category racing with Lindsay drife, Neil Cartledge and Alan Fielding leading the pack) I had a chat with Alan on the day. Actually it's still an L24 block but with 2.75 capacity and the Webers are 48DCOEs. Surprisingly it still runs points ignition and apart from plastic side windows all of the original steel panels and glass are still in place. To answer another post yes they were slicks, which never really got up to temperature on 4-lap sprints. The brakes are CL Valiant vented discs on the front, can't remember about the rears. Quote
