Moderators Zedman240® Posted April 2, 2011 Moderators Posted April 2, 2011 Up for grabs are a pair of adjustable seats mounted on 260Z rails that I aquired with a bulk lot of parts, I don't need them but if you do, they will cost a donation to the site to what you think they are worth..The drivers side needs some padding work but the passenger seat feels ok. Come and grab them as soon as you can..thanks O413 2four 3 76O Dimitri Quote

Sirpent Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 So you just "aquired" aye, any more info about this Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ! "What ever you do Don't mention the war Manuel ! I mentioned it once, but I think I got away with it. So it's all forgotten now and let's hear no more about it. !" Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted April 2, 2011 Author Moderators Posted April 2, 2011 Hahaha...its not "those" parts yet... This was a zed I found at a metal recyclers and not a wrecker. Was a nice 77 +2 but their forklift made it into a wreck. It had a great rust free fluted bonnet, guards, front end and clean straight bumper. I just removed anything that wasn't trashed. Quote
bryan3976 Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 would of been interested in those rails but i was a bit slow Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted April 3, 2011 Author Moderators Posted April 3, 2011 I think the new owner may be installing them in a 240Z so if he's not using them perhaps he can offer them to you? Keep an eye out. Just found out they are "Autechnica" (?) seats... Quote
Dingo Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 i never had a problem with them. except that i still slide in them in corners but not as bad as standard seats where i almost slide out. did you wanna sell the bonnet. Quote

I didn't save the bonnet, looked like something chewed it up and spat it out. You are welcome to go and see if it's still there.. address is 1650 Centre rd, Clayton.. Global metal recyclers.. Quote
RB30X Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 You sit a little higher off the floor and if you have a fat arse don't bother. Now I'm not a tall man by any means in fact, I'd even say on the shorter side, but I just sat in my car with these same seats with a racing helmet on (I'm racing it tomorrow ) and the helmet just touches the ceiling. I dont know how anyone who is of the taller side fits in these cars with or without sports seats. Quote

I dont know how anyone who is of the taller side fits in these cars with or without sports seats. That's easy, you bolt the seat to the floor, there's a couple of inches of extra height, and remove the hood lining, gives you just enough for the helmet to not touch Quote
