stuartnorman Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 99% finished project. Completely drivable. Just needs a couple of finishing touches. Features • Recently rebuilt high performance L28 engine • New Carbon Fibre Bonnet from (Original bonnet avail. and in excellent cond.) • New Carbon Fibre Front Spoiler • Body sand blasted and resprayed March 07 • No Rust • 40mm DCOE Weber carbs - matched • New 2.5 inch high flow exhaust with rally headers • R200 4.4 LSD • 5 Speed gearbox • 4 wheel disc brakes • Fully adjustable Tokico heavy duty shock absorbers, rose jointed lower control arms • Front and rear strut braces • 2 x recovered Velo race seats with 4 point harnesses • 6 point roll cage • New Rota RB Hyper Black 15 x 7’ wheels • Terratrip 202 rally computer • Terraphone intercom with 2 new headsets. • Recovered Dash • Fully re-carpeted interior • Many Spares included 3 Year project. Due to work and family commitments I am unfortunately unable to finish the car at this very late stage in the project. Will make a great weekend club racer once finished though. The car was used as a weekender and did the odd sprint and hill climb until late 2007 when I made the decision to take it off the road and undertake an extensive rebuild / refresh. Since then the car has always been kept under cover and out of the elements. The rebuilt engine has less than 2000kms on it. It runs very well at this stage, although the Weber’s probably need a bit of a tune. Has been dynoed at 150RWHP recently with much room for improvement. The dashboard, carpet and seats have been re-skinned and reupholstered recently. All the car needs at this stage is some door and interior trim sourced and fitted. The doors probably need to be re-hung as well. This car was fully registered with the roll cage in WA until 3 months ago when I stupidly let the registration lapse. Thus the car is now being sold unregistered. $15,000 ono. All reasonable offers will be considered as a quick sale is required. Contact Stuart Norman on 0418 904 856 or stuart@bigthanks.com.au Quote
