Jimbo Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 G,day, We had the 3 Peaks Mountain Challenge up here last weekend with approx 1200 cyclists involved. They started at Falls Creek then down past the Bogong Village to Mt Beauty then up the Towanga Gap to the outskirts of Bright . Turn left up The Great Alpine Rd over Mt Hotham then down to Omeo, onto the Omeo Highway, past the Blue Duck then up the Bogong High Plains Rd over the Bogong high Plains, then over the Rocky Valley Dam wall & finally back into Falls Creek. Yesterday I had a lot more fun than those wankers, I did the reverse trip as I did not want to get caught in the fog over Mt Hotham coming home. Great country to see & drive, PLENTY of gear changing not a lot of flat out high speed but plenty of spirited driving & a coupla pots at the Blue Duck to wind down. Good Fun...Jim Quote
