wildy55 Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Hi Been offered the above cheap. They are 4-stud and have been told they will fit the 240Z. Can anyone confirm this before I end up with oily paperweights? Quote
mossy Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 I've got r33 calipers with custom rotors and adaptors but SW motorsport might still do the adaptors for these calipers and you would have to get the rotors redrilled as well, I haven't heard of the struts fitting a 240z though. Quote
benny Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 a number of people have put the 4 pots on.... dimitri is one... I will be aswell soon!! Quote
Wayne G Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 It is unclear what you have been offered. The 4 stud R33 is the naturally aspirated variant. Brakes had twin piston calliper on front, single on rear, vented front disc and solid rear disc, and mounted on hubs not legs. The 'legs' will not fit the z however with some work the brakes will, with the front need less work than the rear because the handbrake on the 33 is inside the rear rotor and does not fit the z without custom brackets for the handbrake. I have all the pieces on the shelf in my shed and am contemplating the new backing plate required for the handbrake at the moment. I hear that stewart wilkins does brackets but have not confirmed this. Quote
