I've owned 260Z 2 seaters now for 10 years and hope to own one for the rest of my life I had one as my first car and WILL have one as my last. Rob Posted January 22, 2011 Author Posted January 22, 2011 Thanks, guys thankfully I've never sold one had break faliure on one but got a new one straight away and breaks were the first upgrade... I will be keeping my 260 naturally aspirated it has a fairly worked L28 but I'm considering putting in an M3 engine in the future, I have the benefit of a brother who works for BOSCH and has worked for BMW so thought it'd be a fun and reliably powerfull car Otherwise I need to do a respray to bare metal so would appreciate any recommendations for a good painter who won't charge the earth. It's mostly in great condition mechanically, and bad condition electics wise... but that's laziness. Look forward to making it to the next meet in vic too! Rob Quote
chris240 Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 welcome Rob.. Ive always "dreamt" about and a bmw M3 - 3 litre conversion...Its got to be one of the worlds greatest 6cyl normally aspirated in line engines, and their now starting to get more common at the wreckers . Quote
