Mickl Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Folks, My son-in-law bought a 280zx a couple of weeks ago and is loving this old girl to death! There is a hole in the console where the ashtray and cover used to be and he would dearly like to get something to fill it up. Are there any out there in the sheds? As an aside he found that the timing was 2 links out so he is well impressed by the increase in the engine performance now. The same thing happenend on my 260 which nearly doubled the power when fixed earlier this year. Begs the question though that there must be some really bad mechanics out there who could get it so wrong in the first place?? Anyhow, any ashtrays out there to make it look pretty again?
