WTB: 260z Indicator switch from steering column.

Hi Guys, I need a new (old) indicator switch for my 260z.

Not the stalk, the switch with three wires coming out of it with a plastic plug on the end.

The stalk connects to it via 2 very small screws.

Mine has broken and I do not have any left hand indication.

If anyone has two, or two people have one, I'd be interested as well, I don't have right hand indication on a broken stalk

  Hey Stivva your in luck, I remember seeing two units amongst my Z collections, stalks are damaged but I think you will acquire what you need  . What I can do for you is if you forward your address to me I will post both of them to you & what you don't require you can forward onto our friend Whittie. Only cost will be is for you & him to make a donation to "Auszcar" fair enough.

Hey guys we actually did a bit of a write up on this where you can replace the switch with a toggle one from Dick Smith. I did this mod 12 years ago and it still works perfectly. I'll try and dig up the thread.

Scoota, I am aware of the toggle switch mod but it's a friends zed that's broken and I thought it would make a nice gift if I could track down one, cause he doesn't really like the idea of the toggle switch and it not self canceling.

Ok, big cup of STFU for me Seriously mine do self cancel with the mod but my steering wheel aligns in the wrong place.

I'll look in to this mod write-up some more then, cause I haven't but my mate said he didn't want to do it if he could avoid it cause it didn't cancel. If it can be made to self-cancel then that would be good, however for now I'll go with an original switch if available and the toggle-switch as a backup.
