WTD: manual bell housing or 5 speed box

Hi all,

 

My 5 speed box arrived from Sydney today - bell housing totally smashed in transit. If anyone has a stuffed 5speed box with the bell housing I would be very keen to buy, or I might just be in the market for another box.

if you dont mind how much did you pay for the box .no insurance? man that is  bad luck

The good news .... the 'box was cheap on Ebay ($122.50)

 

The good news ... freight was cheap from Syd to Melb ($42).

 

The bad news .... $42 worth of freight doesn't come with insurance.

 

Can you weld a bell housing?? Metal looks shite.... doesn't look very promising.....

dout it keep it as spare i have a automatic box bel house dono if that would help

I have a disassembled box that looks in awesome nick with new bearings and gearset if your'e interested? You can pm me an offer if you like. Would prefer to sell the lot though, not just the bell housing.
