PeterAllen Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 I'm after OEM 16" rims I could pick up from a wrecker. I only what to use them when the car is in the garage but I need 16" to clear the calipers. There are a few Japanese makes and some GM, even Volvo, which have the stud pattern, Anyone know specifically of 16", possibly light commercials? Quote
nizm0zed Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 If they are purely for rolling stock and not to be driven on at all (say anything over 40kph) then you could get some falcon (ba-bf) steelies or any other 16" steelie and weld in the centre of a 4x114.4 rim. Just overlap the faces a bit around the edge (with the offset biased towards the inside) ad spray with the hot metal glue gun (mig) they would never be balanced and would vibrate like all hell at any speed, so not safe to drive on at all. Otherwise if you did want to drive on them or rego the car with them on, you could get some made up. Most wheel repair workshops can either weld centres into bands, or know someone who can. Quote
