QLD: Go Karting and BBQ on 4th July

Who's in?

 

Greg what are the details of the go-karting place we should visit? Do we need to make a booking?

 

Think we should head there earlyish then head to a park for a bbq?

I have basketball training until 12 on Saturday so I can do the afternoon. Steve and I were talking about possibly go karting around 2pm then bbq after?

 

Think we might try one of the kart places on the way to the gold coast, I've heard they might be a bit better than the one Greg and I went to at Landsborough, it was fun though.

I personally don't mind which one so I'm throwing my vote onto LeMans.

I won't vote yet because I'll need command approval (the wife) to come, but LeMans is just down the road, and it'd be nice to get a look at some Z's in good nick.

it was still operating a few months ago. But anything is possible.

We were going to go there for my bucks in mid may, my mate said he was told we could use the track if we had karts, but that they weren't hiring them. That might have been temporary though

This is sad... I'll be in but don't have car! I'm in Kedron so if anybody is feeling charitable...

How convenient I live in Kedron too. You can come with me if the gf doesn't come. I think she is working but she did want to come karting.

I won't dis the GF to get a lift, just in case she could post a quicker time round the track than I could! However if she is committed to working on a weekend (sadly;) thanks very much, I'll take up the offer.

Well, I for one vote for calling this off. I really don't feel like going all that way if we only have 2 or 3 participants.

Sorry but count me out. I think it is too late to be chasing around on the off chance we might get a handful of people together. If it was just around the corner I wouldn't mind.....hold on Lakeside is just around the corner. I wish it were a kart track.

I'm putting the yellow car in on Monday to get the damage fixed and I need to put a new clutch in the white car over the weekend, the extra day will help out.

 

Maybe we should organise Go Karts and BBQ for the christmas meet and just organise something more convenient in the near future.

Any reason for the run? Ie are you doing anything in Montville? I might be in depending on how the white car goes today. I'll let you know
