RB25/30 project motor Melbourne

Hi All

 

I have a RB25/30 motor that I was going to build up and put in my race car. I have now sold the race car so dont need the engine anymore.

 

It is not ready to go. It needs to be built.

What you get:

RB30 bottom end (NA bottom end) needs to be rebuilt, came out of a running car so it has no problems

RB25 head (vct) as removed from running engine

RB rear sump (off a patrol but needs to be finished as it was too deep)

RB25 intake manifold

Print out of how to build a rb25/30 engine (the one off the net)

VL engine mounts (I used a set to mount my rb25det into my racecar. they are not bolt in but are not as big a job as starting from scratch)

so mate how much is left to do im interested has the head been machined 2 fit

Its a head sitting on a block so it ready to rebuild and modify.

 

What machining are you referring to on the head. It bolts straight on. It wouldn't hurt to machine the face of the head but other than that I'm not sure what machining you are referring to.

Is the head complete, how much for it & Patrol sump (is patrol pick up included)?

Yer the head is complete (valves, springs, rocker covers, cams etc all assembled) see pic. It had the rocker covers with the hump at the back but I swaped them for the flat ones as they fit better under the bonnet and I like the look of them aswell

 

Sump has patrol pickup.

 

I want 750 without the rb30 bottom end as all the money is really in the head and sump
